Qualifying Diagnoses

You must have a qualifying diagnosis to be prescribed a medical marijuana card in the state of Mississippi. Please bring proof of your diagnosis to your visit so we can help you get your card. WE OFFER A RISK-FREE INITIAL ASSESSMENT. GET YOUR MEDICAL CARD OR YOU PAY NOTHING!

List of Qualifying Diagnoses

  • Cancer

  • Parkinson’s Disease

  • Huntington’s Disease

  • Muscular Dystrophy

  • Glaucoma

  • Spastic Quadriplegia

  • Positive Status for Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)

  • Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS)

  • Hepatitis

  • Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)

  • Crohn’s Disease

  • Ulcerative Colitis

  • Sickle-Cell Anemia

  • Alzheimer’s Disease

  • Agitation of Dementia

  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

  • Autism

  • Pain Refractory to Opioid Management

  • Diabetic or Peripheral Neuropathy

  • Spinal Cord Disease or Severe Injury

Also qualifying is a chronic terminal or debilitating disease or medical condition or its treatment that produces one or more of the following:

  • Cachexia or Wasting Syndrome

  • Chronic Pain

  • Severe or Intractable Nausea

  • Seizures

  • Severe and Persistent Muscle Spasms, Including But Not Limited to, those Characteristics of Multiple Sclerosis

Prepare for Your Mississippi Medical Cannabis Program (MMCP) Application

To streamline your visit, we recommend creating your MMCP Licensing Portal account in advance. This allows us to assist you more efficiently with the application process.

If you haven't registered yet, please do so here: 👉MS DOH Public Licensing Portal.

Once your account is set up, you can log in to complete your application and upload any required documents. Please note:

  • You won't be able to pay the applicable state fee (typically $25) until after your consultation with our provider.

  • After submission, the Mississippi State Department of Health will review your application. Upon approval, you'll receive an electronic medical cannabis identification card. ​​
